This cards appearance represents strength in all things. Not just the physical aspects but also the hidden strengths of purpose, compassion, willpower, triumph and courage.

The Hanged Man :  This is the 13th card in the major arcana.

This card is not quite as dramatic as it's name would suggest. The figure is hanging by one foot which signifies a temporary set-back of either an emotional or material matter.

You may be about to, or have just entered a period of change in your life. Perhaps a situation has ground to a halt and you can't see the way forward.

 so The Moon can be seen to have an effect on the ebb and flow of emotions and fortunes.

The Devil


THE  DEVIL :  This is the 16th card in the major arcana.


When this card falls in a favourable position, it indicates a sense of permanence or commitment.  So it can be a good card to encounter if you are considering a marriage proposal or making a more permanent commitment to any relationship.

The Wheel of Fortune


The Wheel of Fortune : This is the eleventh card in the major arcana.

It's presence within a spread represents the ever changing fortunes of life.

Just as the wheel is symbolic of continuous movement, so it symbolises how fortunes rotate from highly favourable to less favourable and eventually returning to a more favourable state.
