Basic  Influence : Love




The Heart or 4th Chakra - Situated at the centre of the chest. Deals with issues surrounding the Physical and Emotional Heart.


Associated colour : GREEN - Balance, Harmony, Self- control and  Love.


3rd CHAKRA  TRAITS :  

Balanced : Self-controlled, Compassionate, Humble, Generous, Adaptable, Sympathetic and Romantic, with a love of Self, Others and Nature.


Un-balanced :  Prone to Jealousy, Indifference, Bitterness and Miserly with emotions.


This Chakra also relates to the Heart, Breasts and Thymus Gland, so any imbalance present in this area could produce symptoms relating to the chest area.
(Heart Disease, Allergies and Issues around the Immune System, ie:  Myalgic Encephalomyelitis ; also known as ME, Yuppie Flu or Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.)

As this Chakra relates to the area of the chest and respiration system, it i s also closely linked with symptoms of the throat. TURQUOISE would be a good choice of colour to help balance these issues as it contains elements of both green and blue.  Blue being the colour associated with the Throat Chakra.

PINK can also be used to help balance the emotional aspects of this Chakra, as pink is reproted to be the colour of Love.
