Strength

This is the 12th card in the major arcana.

This cards appearance represents strength in all things. Not just the physical aspects but also the hidden strengths of purpose, compassion, willpower, triumph and courage.

It signifies the ability to win battles through the use of diplomacy and patience instead of brute force.  Whatever obstacles are in your way, perseverance and your ability to cope under pressure will see you win through in the end.


If you have been feeling ill recently, a rapid recovery is forecast.  Equally, if you have been planning a move to a healthier lifestyle, now is probably the best time to do so, as your willpower is at it's strongest.

When this card falls in a less favourable position, it warns against allowing negative thoughts and fears to cause you to give up on something, you may just be closer to the prize than you think. It would be a shame to miss out on opportunities, just because you don't have the courage of your convictions.
