When this card presents in a favourable position with in a spread, it is the epitome of Mother Earth.  The main areas to be influenced by this card revolve around prosperity, love, fertility, motherhood, nature, artistic endeavors and new beginnings.

The appearance of this card within a spread often refers to a strong male influence or presence in your life, such as your father, brother, husband, friend or even your boss.

Often regarded as the spiritual and moral compass of the Tarot.  The appearance of this card in a spread may signify a moral lesson to be learned.

As the keeper of moral law, the Hierophant may represent a spiritual guide, teacher or another who is wise and able to give good advice.

 Definitely a card that is guaranteed to raise both your pulse and anticipation. Whilst its appearance can signify the arrival of a new love in your life, it is not always as straight forward as it would first seem.

The Hermit

The Hermit : This is the 10th card in the major arcana.

The path ahead needs some careful navigation for a while. This cards appearance signifies a need to exercise a degree of caution when making decisions, so consider all of your options carefully.

Strength

This is the 12th card in the major arcana.

This cards appearance represents strength in all things. Not just the physical aspects but also the hidden strengths of purpose, compassion, willpower, triumph and courage.

The Hanged Man

The Hanged Man :  This is the 13th card in the major arcana.

This card is not quite as dramatic as it's name would suggest. The figure is hanging by one foot which signifies a temporary set-back of either an emotional or material matter.

You may be about to, or have just entered a period of change in your life. Perhaps a situation has ground to a halt and you can't see the way forward.

THE  MOON: This is the 19th card in the major arcana.


Just as our Moon has an effect on the ebb and flow of the tides,
 so The Moon can be seen to have an effect on the ebb and flow of emotions and fortunes.

The Devil

THE  DEVIL :  This is the 16th card in the major arcana.


When this card falls in a favourable position, it indicates a sense of permanence or commitment.  So it can be a good card to encounter if you are considering a marriage proposal or making a more permanent commitment to any relationship.

The Wheel of Fortune

The Wheel of Fortune : This is the eleventh card in the major arcana.

It's presence within a spread represents the ever changing fortunes of life.

Just as the wheel is symbolic of continuous movement, so it symbolises how fortunes rotate from highly favourable to less favourable and eventually returning to a more favourable state.

Earth           This is the element that relates to all things material, work, business, money and wealth. Success or failure will depend upon how strong the foundation is. Did you start on firm ground or soft? It is easy to see why when you consider where the worlds economic wealth hails from. Whether it is precious metals, gems, gas or oil, all need to be removed from the Earth.

If you are currently involved in a secret relationship/affair, this card would be considered to be a good omen, however, if reversed it could indicate that your situation is about to be revealed.

Whenever this card appears it can signify a time of confusion and mixed emotions. Whatever the situation, the gentle illumination of the Moon will help you find your way, even if the chosen path proves to be a rough one, all will be well in the end.

When this card falls as reversed, it warns of lies and deceit. Could these be the reasons why your passage is being hampered.  Deep rooted worries and anxieties need to be addressed before progress can be made.  Listen to your 'Inner Voice.'

As steam, it could represent emotional turmoil and a tendency to over react. It governs the suit of Cups, which are good containers when handle correctly, but if knocked off balance, can readily spill their contents.

When this card appears, it is generally understood to be a positive omen, especially if you are currently undertaking a new venture or starting a new phase of your life.

You have the energy and drive to see any project through to a successful outcome, if you really want it.  You have access to all the confidence, willpower and initiative that you will need, so use it.

It foretells of interesting and exciting times ahead. A time to discover your un-tapped potential and expect the unexpected.
